I'm not even going to read the article, but I'll take or do anything that helps relieve my phantom pains, and I really don't give a damn what anybody thinks. It's legal in this state and It's coming to a state near you before long too.

Thank you ASH, but there are a couple of other members here in the same boat. Everyone is different though.

As the above, I would use at my age no matter the implications.

That said I don't want to skirt the law nor outright break it.

Between glaucoma, aches of age, digestion probs......I wish we had the option.

Dang ASH, you need to catch up on your NatGeo reading. That article's almost 2 years old. That's some backlog you've got.

Weed has been around many decades and they have yet to really prove it's harmful.

Old stoners use to think that if you blew mj smoke in a cats ear it would get stoned. I was never an old stoner, but I actually believed it when I was 17.

Don't really have any issues with weed, so long as it's used responsibility and people treat it similar to alcohol and don't drive while stoned.

Personally, I think it's stupid that it's banned, when it has so many verifiable and proven medical uses, and has yet to be proven to be harmful. We let people kill themselves with cigarettes, so how can weed be any worse than that?

If you put a cat in an oven and blew smoke in there, wait 15 minutes to open the door, the cat will kinda ooze out of the oven onto the floor. (it's hilarious).

Thereafter, every time you open the stove the cat will jump in.

At least that's what I've heard.

My Step son kinda had a problem when he was in the interview process with the DEA. He told them that he had smoked marijuana. Their response was, "We arrest people that smoke marijuana" and you want to work here? They hired him anyway and the rest is history. He had a very successful career with them and retired at 48.
