Went to my LGS to just see what they had in stock...

Ran into a .357 Sig Glock 31 with a 15 Degree non-LCI extractor and dirty, dim night sights. I asked him about looking at the internals and he said "Don't wanna take them Glocks down, almost impossible to get back together. Don't dry-fire it either." (Which, he had a sign on the counter about dry-firing so that's understandable.)

Looked like a good find and should have been a decent price, I was thinking $350-$400, considering it was fairly worn and the grip was shiny..

Asked the price, guy replied with " She's $540 but I can do $525 for you." and he would not go any lower for the life of me!

I replied, "Alrighty, have a good day, sir."

    Some people are just crazy!

His attitude is like going to a used car lot and asking to test drive a car and look under the hood and the salesman saying no ... and also expecting you to pay about 95% of new car price. What a tool.

Yeah I know right? He looked quite knowledgeable and ''aged''......until he opened his mouth. I told him I can get a new one for like $430 but it didn't seem to register.

The shop was very messy and he didn't know much about firearms altogether, now I know why my family told me to not go there something odd years ago.

The person you were dealing with sounds like an idiot.(Not an uncommon find in most LGS around the country) And some shops wonder why they have a hard time making it.

A Glock like you described should probably sell for under $375.

    Exactly!
