Have a hardly used one on its way, and was looking for any member experiences. I liked the idea of a long range cartridge that would still have good barrel life. Obviously a reloaders cartridge and an accurate one. Years ago I had a savage 12 varmint in .223 and was impressed. Hoping this will be a step up in quality and accuracy. Have heard mostly good things about this configuration, 26" heavy barrel (1.1") right bolt left port single shot action with the red blade target accutrigger. What do you think gentlemen?

Great cartridge . Wonder what hardly used is and what barrel was used and who fit it ? Should on the barrel , What stock was used and check the bedding . Are you getting some recipes for ammo too . You have a good action for sure but until you get some range time !! NO scope or mounts ?

A have heavy hunter with a #6 kreiger 28" on a ruger mkii 77 that's would shoot 5 shot groups at 400 yards of 1" with gun smith supplied 168gr match king loads in 7mm rem mag . 2" with a Hornady 139gr sst ammo when built 22 years ago . Still very good today . Had to talk the smithy into trying to remove the stock barrel to use rugers investment cast receiver but it was a junk shooter in stock form .

So report back after you work up some loads get it scoped and get some range time .

Thanks for the input hardluk! Bone stock with scope mount. Reportedly only sighted in. Has the HS precision v block stock from the factory. 8 twist. Will work on reloading setup in the coming months. 6mmbr.com has a wealth of info and lapua makes great brass for it.
