Thought I would share a simple recipe that my mother makes on Christmas. My girlfriend had never heard of sausage balls until last week when I made some for her. I thought everyone made these?;f Now she is ready for another batch!

    2-1/2 c. biskquick
    1 pd. hot sausage
1 pkg.(2 cups) sharp cheese shredded
    few shakes of worcestershire sauce

Mix well. It will take a little mixing to get all the biskquick blended. Roll into bite size balls. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 mins. Enjoy! You can make these ahead of time and freeze them.

That sounds great, I'll do'em this weekend...
    We're a Bisquick family!

They really hold their round shape, or close to it?
They don't flatten out like cookies when you bake them?

I see the possibility for a bunch of variations too, with the types of cheeses
and adding of different herbs and stuff...

First time tho, I'll just stick to your original recipe...
I imagine it'll have real good flavor as is...

I knew Bill would be the first to think about ways to improve the already almost perfect sausage ball ;f

They hold the shape well ;)

I'm not a big fan of Alec Baldwin, but you just can't beat his Schweddy Balls!

Yes Mild Bill they hold the shape real well. I haven't tried any other variations because I like them just like the recipe said. But it might be worth a try. ;)
