This past Saturday was a close to a perfect a day that I have EVER had. It just was me, my 1927 Tula 91/30 Mosin Nagant and 75 rounds of Ivan's finest 1983 vintage ammo. The three of us spent 4+ GLORIOUS hours at the rifle range! PURE BLISS! While my 91/30 shoots about a foot high at 100 yds I did find that it is sighted in and spot on at 200 yds. It was really cool picking off soda cans out to 230 yds through the iron sights! I LOVED IT! What a great day! Just felt like sharing that....

Think of the bruise as deep tissue massage.

Those Mosins are a great value in blast for the buck.

    What, no pics?

    I don't think I could see a soda can at 230 yds.

    Dang, I'm old.

The glare coming off of them helped alot! Sadly, I have no pics. I didn't take my camera with me and I left the cell phone at home. I was in DESPARATE need of some good quality me time!

Wow. With my mosin, it would be a challenge to hit a car at 200 yards.
With my Schmidt Rubin, if I could see it at 400, it would be in trouble.
You've gotta love a good range day.
