I know these events are chaotic, but I’m curious how he was misidentified as a victim. The gun would have been in his close proximity, correct? Wouldn’t first responders be on the sharp lookout for weapons?
Since the fast kids are clear at that point and only the first responders are at the scene of the carnage, an empty gun on the ground near a kid with a head wound, I’m betting their first thought is the shooter dumped the gun and is on the move, not that he saved the last round for himself.
Taking the jobs away works. More than a million legal immigrants a year here taking jobs. Money is freedom, guns provide a sense of security but its symbolic. Gov isn't afraid of guns, they can take them at anytime without a firefight. 99% live in the city and need utilities. Gov could mandate guns or no heat or freeze banking. After saying that sounds like they already own us. We have guns but are already beat.
Of course this could have been a specifically targeted attack, and magazine capacity wouldn't have been a factor.
Could very well be he wanted a couple specific targets for his 16th birthday. I’m sure we’ll find out why out of all of his dead fathers guns he had to chose from, he decided to take the one he did. He looked like a skinny little kid, could be as simple as it fit his hand the best.
80-90% of violent crime in CA cities is gang related. The CA gov won't even deport illegal alien gang members. It's not about reducing crime, it's about control.
Probably used a 1911 cuz he fired one shot jammed then fixed it and fired 5 rounds and used the last round on himself ...
Tonight's news reported that LEO now believes the kid assembled a 6-shot .45ACP semi-automatic pistol from black market sources, different parts from different sources. Per the segment these black market parts/assemblies are well known. It's the first I've heard of it.
Few schools have metal detectors. 95% of the kids walking through the door carry backpacks. It's not hard to slip a gun in and fire off six rounds in a few seconds.
If he was a techno geek, he would know about the dark net, where there isn't much that's illicit that you can't buy.
