Thank you, you get it, and you understand. I dont want to think of what it will take to stop them now. Our problem with anti-gunners is our own fault though. To many people sat around and just ignored the problems. We failed as gun owners as a whole. Most have done nothing to support our rights and didnt bother to teach anything to our children so that they could continue the fight. All because they thought that it was no big deal and shrugged it off.

Well, now those children have grown, got indoctrinated, now they are against us. Kind of how this type of scenario is happening to harley davidson. Older generation never taught their kids to ride. So now they see the decline of sales with these kids not being interested in the sport. Well, the same thing has happened to the gun crowd. The kids have no interest in guns, because they`ve been told that guns are bad. They haven`t been taught that guns are good! Now they are the 30yr old anti-gun people that want to take your guns! And they ARE going to eventually win! I hope i`m dead before the blood runs into the streets.

Doesn't matter to the Dems. They have no problem passing unconstitutional gun laws. Their philosophy is to pass the law now, then if anyone challenges it in court, they'll fight for it later.

They know that challengers will need a lot of time and money on their hands to bring it to court, so challengers will be few and far between. Even IF anyone challenges it in court, the decision (whichever way it goes) is going to be appealed. Meanwhile, the law will stand during this process. So the bottom line is, the law is going to be on the books for a long time.

I can not convict someone who defends their rights with any amount of force required against an oppressive government or its agents when the question of constitutionality is settled law.

Freedom, they don't want you to have it.

Trump for 2020, and more pro-gun Supreme Court justices :)

Yes it was, fortunately I was only there for a year. Moved there from Colorado chasing jobs. I never liked it there, joined up, spent the next 6 years in northern Maine.

Even if they could get the law passed, how would they enforce it? Warrants to go door to door?

Still waiting on a cool idea for a signature line....

    They will certainly try.

I saw a liberals head almost explode the other day in a bar. She said to her friend, "I will be so happy when Trump is no longer President."

I turned to her and said, "Don't worry. 2025 will be here sooner than you think."

I understand your pessimism but I think you're wrong. The NRA and GOA and others will sue and since the precedent of Washington, DC which tried the same thing and lost will doom CA's trash. Don

Even the NRA doesn't have the resources to fight every constitutionally questionable gun law enacted around the country. They have to pick and choose their battles. They may pick this one, they may not.

Challenging a law in court is a lot of hassle, very time consuming, and very expensive. I'm just saying, it could be a while before some pro-2A group steps up and takes on that task.

I have a feeling that there is a lot of quiet non-compliance with gun laws in CA.

Quite right but I do think this one is worth fighting for as I said, the precedent is already set with SCOTUS slapping DC down on the same issue.

It seems that the American Communist Lawyers Union never lacks for funding, probably getting money from the oozing, slimy Soros and wealthy celebrities.

Wish some uber wealthy conservatives would back the NRA up with legal help and a big infusion of $. Don
