Anyone try their pumpkin beer they have out yet?
If so, How was it compared to other pumpkin brews?
Interesting, is that new this year? Never seen or heard of it before.

Yes, tried several of them in their sampler 12-pack. I must say that I like the "Octoberfest" much, much better. I am now stocking up, before it goes away...
Its "ok" its not as Pumpkiny as some ive tried though. Id have liked a bit more of the spices but its not bad.
How does this one stack up against AB's Jacks pumpkin spice?
Punkin-beer? I don't do fruit-flavored beer. No cherry, no peach, no lemon, no PUNKIN!
I am having a hard time finding the Cranberry Lambic...maybe too soon?
I've found the only way I like pumpkin is in bread or pie. Haven't tasted a pumpkin beer I like.
Also, look at the word 'pumpkin' several times. What a strange word.
The Blue Moon seasonal pumpkin is pretty damn good!
I was actually pretty let down by it.
Taste like an october fest to me.
no spices or pumpkin picked up.
What he said.
^^ This is probably their worst beer and I've tried them all but a few. The Black Lager would be second. I tried the pumpkin a few weeks ago and I have to say it was the first beer that I enjoyed slightly warm rather than ice cold. It seemed the warmer it became the more the pumpkin really stood out.
I just finished one. Tasty for the price.
Exactly. And no pineapple on pizza, either.
Beer along with fruit or vegetables should never be spoken of in the same sentence.
Yeah............ So what do you think it really means??
I bought a 12pk of Shipyard Pumpkin Head Ale last year and had to force myself to choke it down. Yecchh! It was like drinking a bottle of potpourri. The Sam Adams might be better, but I can't bring myself to try it.
