Is the trigger hole already cut out on the Saiga Rifle in 7.62 x 39. I was thinking about trying to convert one myself, but the thought of having to cut the trigger hole really concerns me.

most likely it is. i think the ones that might not have them were the s12 shotguns and maybe the .308. Just to be sure the best place to find the info would be on the saiga forum

Best to check the gun before you purchase it.

Mine didn't have the PG hole cut, so I had to do it.
It was a little unnerving, but I bought some calipers, and did a pretty nice job with only a dremel.

I've never seen a Saiga without a trigger hole. Now a pistol grip nut hole is
another story. A good drill bit and files will get you through,dremil will work great.

Oops! totally misread OP as referring to pistol grip hole, not trigger hole!

I have a friend who converts 'em more or less regularly, and I'm pretty sure he never has to cut them. Just make sure to include the bullet guide or you'll be hating life.
