Model for success in anything: Any kind of problem what so ever? Charge people more money.

Mr Saban should concentrate on 'Bama and mind his own business.

So that people can help victims while coincidentally feeding the same athletic department that allowed the rapes to go on?

    How about "no"?

A typical liberal Democrat response to a problem; raise taxes.

Ironically MSNBC, the Democrats’ propaganda ministry, gleefully trumpets the Penn State scandal in heavy rotation.

It is really odd and noticeable as they exclusively smear only Republicans.

I don't like taxes but have no problem with this, though calling it a tax is the wrong word. Let Penn State help clean up the mess they supported for decades.

I still think the death penalty for Penn State football may be coming, as it should. The NCAA has never been known to have much backbone anyway and there is a lot of outside pressure to do something severe.

If people don't want to pay it they can just stay home. However, independent oversite is needed to make sure the taxes all go to charity. I don't trust Penn State.

With 2 National Championships in 3 years Saban's got his business handled pretty well.

Would need to make sure the trustees don't use the money to remodel their skybox at the stadium.

I think what Saban is doing is offering an alternative to the Penn State death penalty by the NCAA.

I believe Penn State is getting thr death penalty and is done for several years. The NCAA doesn't have a choice. If I am a freshmen with a signed commitment letter there I would be notifying Penn State of the cancelation of commitment and I would be looking for another school.

I fully expect Saban to exact his own punishment on Penn State when they play again, which I believe is this year. That might get as ugly as Saban wants it to.

Hopefully by the time the season rolls around PSU will be prohibited from playing.

Just checked. PSU doesn't play Alabama (or any other quality programs) in 2012.

In other words, raise ticket prices on the fans for the "punishment" and allow Rape University to continue rolling in the cash like nothing happened.

They could raise money by selling everything that those who covered it up own and every single penny of the Joe Pedophile Accomplice(that's what the PA in joePA stands for) estate.

I don't think Penn State's football team should get the death penalty. This is not something that involves college football.

The players and the newly hired coaching staff that has took over had nothing to do with this. Why punish these kids for something they didn't know and had no involvement in?

If you want to take them off television for a year then that would be fine by me. That way a year goes by and they can start to rebuild their image.

The university itself are the ones that need to pay. They need to take full responsibility and take what punishment is given. Maybe I'm being nice but don't punish 18-20 year old kids who all they did was come to get an education and play football.

The need the death penalty, permanently. Their actions were taken to protect the football program and Joe Paterno's legacy. They should be punished with at least 14 years of no football. And even then it wouldn't come close to justice.

I vote for no ticket sales because the team won't exist.
