I've been waiting on this one and finally got the call. It turned out pretty sweet, but I'll pass judgment on it after I get to the range. It isn't stupid tight, it can be racked very easily, which is good. The bushing however is extremely tight.

My camera battery went dead on me so I'll take some nicer pics later.

    Specs:

Custom fit slide(GI Vertical serrations ) to national match frame
Custom fit match Kart barrel & EGW thick flange bushing and plug
    Vickers action components(ring hammer)
    10-8 flat trigger
    EGW slide stop w/FBI nub
    Tuned for total reliability
    Pinned extended ejector
    Extra Fitted extractor
    GI recoil system
Custom fit beavertail grip safety tuned for max sensitivity
    Extended thumb safety, non ambi
    Low mount 10-8 U-notch (.140”) rear sight
Dovetail ramped front tritium sight w/white OL
    Heinie Magwell opened to max
    Chen MS housing
    Ion Bond DLC entire pistol
    “Golf Ball” Grip Treatment
    “Radical Carry Bevel” complete pistol
    10-8 mag release
    Ball cuts

    Crappy pic for now

Bro that is one sweet 1911. You sure know how to spec out the right pistol when it comes to the 1911's. Let us know how it shoots compared to your other 1911's.

Congrats! Turned out very nice. What kind of grips are those? They go with the golfball really well.

These are Nighthawks G10 golfball grip. I had a set laying around and figured they'd go perfect here. SA smoothed/rounded them out, which was unexpected but a nice touch.

Thanks to all, I'm not the best with taking pictures, but here are a few. No matter how hard I try my GSD's hair always shows up where I don't want it.

I may try a few outside when the ice stops.

I wasn't sure what to think of IB, but I do like it on this one. It reminds me of parkerizing somewhat.

Not sure if I'm going to use it on my two-tone build or not yet, need to make up my mind soon though.

I really love the way that build looks. The all-black is sharp. I am seriously leaning towards having my NH Tactical Carry done in all IonBond Diamond Black.
