Well, my first purchase off of GunBroker.com and it's a real beauty!

Smith & Wesson 52-2 .38 Wadcutter. New Old Stock

This little gem was sold NOS and after taking it down and cleaning it, I believe it! Trigger is a hair above #2.5 so I'll be able to use it in NRA matches. I'll be heading to the range shortly to see how it shoots.

Those things are nice. S&W never built a finer auto IMO.

It is a great auto and every bit as nice as the Performance Center 952 built today.

i really want one of these and 11 mags all cut to hold 6 rounds. These guns are some for police pistol combat matches, especially if you put a weight on the dust cover.

I reload for it. 148gr Hornady HBWC with 2.7gr Bullseye.
    It just goes "POP"!

Bullseye is a good powder but HP-38 works better in mine. Some people say that they have to seat the bullets flush with the case but mine feeds fine with them seated with the bullet sticking out just a little bit.

My 52-1 is a shooting machine. I have to seat my reloads flush with no bullet sticking out of the case. Mine gets hung up in the magazine if any lead is sticking out of the case.
Also I have to load 3.0gr of Bullseye for the slide to lock back every time after the last shot. I think I get better accuracy with 3gr anyway. I know I do at 50yds.
