S&W 469 Duo Tone

    I found a 469 with blue slide and satin frame at a pawn shop today. Think this is the special production that was made for Ashland Shooting Supplies? The SCSW catalog mentions one with nickel finish but this is more of the satin finish like you see on a lot of models.

    Nope. Its still at the pawn shop. The finish appears to be original to me but I've been tricked before!!

    The Standard Catalog of S&W says there was a sandblast blue finish or the nickle made for Ashland that you mentioned, doesn't say anything about a satin finish.

    To me that looks like the standard aluminum frame with a blue steel slide , when I bought my 6906 in the mid 90's I remember this being a standard model... But , then again I could be wrong !
