Grabbed this 1970s Highway Patrolman today. Nice condition, P&R, target hammer & trigger. Hasn't been fired much but that will change.

A real workhorse of a revolver right there. I like shooting .38 spl's out of mine. The big N frame makes seem like you're plinking with a 22.

    Congrats!

Model 28 & model 66 are two I have wanted to have for many years. I shot them both in the mid seventies because my father in law had them both and I'd shoot them once in awhile on his farm.

    Lucky to be you! Congratulations

    Very nice!

It is hard to believe looking at your pictures that the S&W Model 28 was their cheaper model.

BTW, you will never wear it out in your lifetime but you can at least try.:whistling:

I picked up a LNIB 28-3 a couple of years ago. I don't think it had ever been fired. Now, if I could only find a target hammer and trigger.

I got a 5-incher Dash Two. I need to get the M27 to go with it.
