I get that, but Soros is just one really rich socialist...that sounds funny. Tom Steyer would do the same if he was organized, Mitt Romney would too if he had the coin. Luckily most Billionaires seem to have an aversion to politics... I guess investing in something that makes 50% of Americans hate you is bad for business.

The best way to beat the Soros influence is to expose it and publicly show the connections. For being a Democrat hero they sure try to stay away from being publicly linked to Soros.

Most Americans don't care about remembering much, besides the last World Series Baseball game scores.

Like most things, we will never really know, but we will all settle on something that we want to know.

If this sound like too much mental work, there are cable stations you can watch that will draw all the conclusions for you.

Because Trump, for some strange reason, said the word Crowdstrike in one of his phone calls to the Ukrainian President asking him to investigate Ukrainian corruption and the Bidens.

I can only guess that Trump still clings to a theory that Russia was not the state entity that hacked the DNC server, as Crowdstrike's investigation indicated, and hoped that the Ukrainians did? Who knows.

    THE FACTS

CrowdStrike determined in June 2016 that Russian agents had broken into the committee’s network and stolen emails that were subsequently published by WikiLeaks. Its findings were confirmed by FBI investigators, with whom it later shared the forensic evidence.

Based on those findings, Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted 12 members of Russia’s military intelligence agency and later concluded that their operation sought to favor Trump’s candidacy.

Mueller testified before the U.S. Congress the day before Trump’s phone call with Zelenskiy.

In the call, Trump mentioned Mueller’s “incompetent performance” and said “they say it started with Ukraine.”

    THE FICTIONS

Ukraine and Russia have essentially been at war since Russia’s 2014 military intervention and annexation of Crimea. Unsubstantiated conspiracy theories about a purported Ukrainian link to the DNC hack began circulating almost immediately after it was discovered.

Some propagated by Russian media and online included mention of a supposed “hidden DNC server,” which acolytes of the Republican political operative Roger Stone picked up and circulated.

Stone is now standing trial for allegedly lying to Congress, obstructing justice and witness tampering after getting swept up in the Mueller probe. He has claimed that CrowdStrike is concealing evidence that could presumably clear Russia of culpability.

The presiding judge has denied Stone’s efforts to challenge the investigation into the hack.

CrowdStrike has also worked for the GOP. It helped the National Republican Congressional Committee investigate email thefts by unidentified hackers during the 2018 campaign, the company told the AP in December.

    THE UKRAINIAN CONNECTION

One version of the conspiracy theory holds that CrowdStrike is owned by a wealthy Ukrainian. In fact, company co-founder Dmitri Alperovitch is a Russian-born U.S. citizen who immigrated as a child and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Trump himself has made this erroneous reference before.

In an April 2017 interview with The Associated Press, Trump said: “Why wouldn’t (former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John) Podesta and Hillary Clinton allow the FBI to see the server? They brought in another company that I hear is Ukrainian-based.

    “CrowdStrike?” the interviewer asked.

“That’s what I heard,” Trump replied. “I heard it’s owned by a very rich Ukrainian, that’s what I heard.
But they brought in another company to investigate the server. Why didn’t they allow the FBI in to investigate the server? I mean, there is so many things that nobody writes about. It’s incredible.”

Crowdstrike was the DNC paid company who investigated the DNC server and reported it was hacked as part of the DNC funded fake Russian dossier against Trump.

    No suspicion there...

There probably was Russian interference and Oba failed to either find it or do anything about it. I suspect he looked the other way so that his Iran deal would hold.

I have no reason to believe or disbelieve whether Crowdstrike's investigation determined the correct findings or if they had a motivation to fake it. I have simply pointed out that Crowdstrike is not a Ukrainian company regardless of what Trump believes.

Crowdstrike is actually founded by a Russian. Did that tidbit ever enter the conversation?

Sure, he’s an American citizen, but born in Russia and still connected. He found Russian hacking though...

It smells bad, in spite of how it’s spun.

Trump bringing it up means he knows a Ukraine connection that we don’t. Bet on it. He’s rarely wrong.

Doesn’t seem to concern you that it’s founded by a Russian.

By the way, there are millions of Ukrainians who still identify as Russian.

Every thinking American should find this debacle extremely insulting.

I did not require “de Russians” to inform me that Hillary and the Communist Democrats are not to be voted for.

The fact that people are still questioning this is disturbing.

Those who are still questioning this should ask how many elections have we inserted ourselves through NGOs such as National Endowment for Democracy...

This is a joke in very poor taste.

    That’s all you got? LOL

To get back on track, Trump claimed Crowdstrike was a Ukrainian company. He was obviously wrong.

I think just about every major nation on earth tries to influence our elections in one form or another. How much effect that actually has on the citizen voter is all but impossible to measure. What I don't trust are the electronic voting machines. If you're not smart enough to punch out a chad, then you should not be choosing the next POTUS.

If you call $160k of Facebook ads in an almost $2 billion campaign “meddling”, yeah sure. I guess.

Bottom line their goal was was to destabilize our country by undermining the future president. It has been the most successful campaign ever, because the Democrats bought it hook, line, and sinker.

The real truth here is the Democrats have been pushing the Russian agenda from the day Hillary lost. Worst part is, they know it, and don’t care. All they care about is getting back into power.

It’s disgusting. It’s corrosive to our nation, and someday they will regret it. But that day is not today.
