I could do without the black parts myself, but I still feel its a good looking 1911.
I wasn't liking the whole two tone look myself. Gun was more than fine at functioning, but on a pure cosmetic preference I didn't like the looks.
I changed that.
im still waiting to shoot one and my local range doesnt have one to rent.Guess I'll just wait till they're out longer
Very nice Alan
That has a nice sleek look to it.
I didn't think I'd like the black parts, but with the brushed/polished steel they look kind of cool, in my opinion. Besides, I'm too cheap to go out and start replacing parts.
Whatever happened, luckily it slowed enough people down for me to find that link in time
Kittery Trading Post had one last Sunday.
Oh the inhumanity!! Why oh why did I ever bring that SR1911 home with me tonight. If I had just read this post BEFORE! Now I'm stuck with this, this, .....words just escape me right now.
The bigger question is why evoke a 3-year-old thread?
With all the info available to a consumer today.....an uninformed consumer is a fool.
Pretty much, Greg
My bet would be that E'villeGunner found the thread on google. The newbie is now simply trolling for attention........pathetic!
Seriously dislike clicking on a thread and finding it is old, old old.
If only Ruger made that pistol black...
...Or he just did a search and honestly didn't realize the thread was so old, geez lighten up a bit.
