    Gentlepeople,
I have a Ruger Mark II that I'm looking to sell or trade in pursuit of another carry gun. My question is re: the value of the Ruger.

It is a Mark II, stainless, bull bbl, full VQ accurizing kit, VQ thumbrest grips, red-dot optic, SoLow optic mounts, uninstalled VQ ported compensator, about a half-dozen mags and speedloader (the kind that charges the whole mag at once from a hopper). I also have all the stock parts to return the gun to complete stock if one so desired.
I spent about $300 for the gun a few years ago. I figure I've spent about $200, maybe $250 since then on parts. What would be a good asking price? $400? $450?

    Thanks for any info.

    JD

I have the exact same gun...except mine is 100% stock.

If I were you, I'd return the gun to "stock", and try to get $250. -$275. Then, I'd sell all of the extra stuff on EBay - you'd get plenty for it.
