Let's see some of these funky pieces.
What kind of scope is that NCStar? Is it magnified or what?
The red dot sight and the laser sights are just the cheap NCStars. The scope is a 2X Redfield left over since the early 1990s when I used to mount it on my Ruger SuperRedhawk.
Just for the heck of it I put a Green laser on the Charger.
It actually wasn't a bad setup.
Blasting from the hip at 25 yards.
Tell me more about the bird cage flash suppressor!!!
Fanner50 I'm still looking at the gun shows for a decent shape 10/22 stock I can cut down like yours.
Wow, after all those mine is down right boring! Nothing special, just a Bushnell 2-6x pistol scope. FnFal, that's pretty cool rig you got there, I'm considering doing something similar to mine minus the red dot scope. Fanner50, love the "pirate" style Charger.
Nothing fancy on mine...I keep forgetting to get a target trigger, the stock one sucks....I only think about it when I shoot it...I'll wait for warmer weather..
Very unique. Good job on the mods, Fanner50.
It's an AR-15 flash suppressor. I had an old 10/22 barrel laying around that a gunsmith friend of mine cut down to 6" and he threaded the end 1/2x28 to take standard AR type flash suppressors. That's how that came about. So far I've cut down two 10/22 barrels and two 10/22 stocks. I'm currently working on changing the pirate pistol into another tactical Charger. I've cut down a very expensive Bell & Carlson thumbhole stock that I was not happy with as a10/22 stock and I'm in the process of changing the pirate pistol over.
I'll have before and after pictures when the change over is complete.
All in all, these are fun little projects and the guns are fun to shoot and they get a lot of comment at the range. A lot of comments come from people who don't know what a Charger is and think it is an illegal build. I take great pleasure in "educating" them.
M2 Carbine.........you might try eBay. I've seen some go real cheap there.
Pm sent,......I have one you can have for the cost of postage.
