Hmm - I'll play here. I absolutely love my Ruger Bisley, stainless steel, 5.5" bbl in 45LC/45ACP Convertible.

Ok, whats the difference between the Bisley and the Blackhawk? zGrips?? and if so whats the difference(meaning in the grips)? If I cant get this Dan Wesson ive been trying to get since 9/11/10 im quickly running out of patience with that gun dealer im gonna probably get a Blackhawk or Security Six(only others ive found in my price range in .357 which is $300)

Ive just always wondered what the difference was an heard it was the grips but I look and I cant tell any difference..but then again ive never seen a Blackhawk and a Bisley model in a side by side for comparison.

Grips are "longer", and the trigger spur is lower.

Other than that, it's all Blackhawk. Says so on the side!

You can't go wrong with a Blackhawk.

Yeah, if the Dan Wesson was not $270 and in at least 90%+ id just get the Blackhawk(that was $300 even) but im trying to wait for the place to get its FFL woes in order so I can get it but im quickly losing patience with this place since its been since 9/11/10 since I put it on "lay away" ....

I find it very odd that they don't make a right handed version.

They make a very solid single action revolver. Much stronger than a Colt. The strength allow you to shoot some pretty stout ammo with no problems.

Triggers arent bad out of the box, but not great. You can do the poor boy trigger job and make them much better. I couldnt tell you the absolute accuracy as I have never locked it down and tried, but I can tell you that mine will shoot one hole groups out to 25 yards when I do my job, and can hit clay pigeons on the berm at 100 yards, when I do my part.

Wow thats impressive...this place better get their FFL figured out QUICK so I can pick up that Dan Wesson lol OR a Blackhawk/ Bisley may be in order instead lol....not trying to hijack but does anyone have a A/B side by side of a stock Blackhawk and the Bisley to see what the difference is...and if its just the grips and trigger....im assuming that the grips can just be switched over from say a Blackhawk ?? or is the frame area different also??
