Several months ago I got a set of the Rubberized "Decal Grips", for my Gen 3 23. I have shot it only a few times since installation, but the web area, of my strong hand, hurts, after a few mags.

Is it a possibility that I'm getting a much better grip, which leads to more "contact", for lack of a better term?

It’s not crippling, but is quite noticeably different.

I have them on my G 22's and don't feel any different but then again a G22 is slightly larger in grip length and that may negate what you feel from your G 23.
I do like them as far as getting a better grip on the gun though. SJ 40

Did you shoot it much before the grips?
May just need more shooting time as the .40 recoil could be getting to you.
I have these grips on my G27 & G17. no issues, but after about 200rds with my g27 my hands are a bit sore.

I have the same grips on most of my Glocks now and I know what you are talking about but I don't have any issues unless I am shooting at least 200 rounds.

Not sure if we're talking about the same grip, but ... I have Talon rubberized "wraps" on each of my Glocks (23, 26, and 30SF). I've never noticed anything but better gripping surfaces; no downsides.

I switeched from the Talon abrasive grips -- great for range use -- so that I could include these pistols in my CCW rotation. The abrasive grips were sure to be hard on undershirts!

Yes, I had shot many rounds, prior to installing the rubber decal grips, not Talon, but these http://www.decalgrip.com/catalog.html

I had not noticed this "pain" prior.
I was just wondering if any others had the same experience.
I assume its from having a better grip, on the pistol.
