Well, we in the firearms world have cause to smile. One of our worst enemies in the Senate, Rotten Frank Lautenberg of NJ will not run for reelection.

Another clown who never saw an anti gun law he didn't like will be history soon. May he rot in retirement. Don

I welcome your wishes for his retirement, and echo them.

I will be glad to see him go. He has done much harm to the USA, especially firearms related.

And to think Gen. Patton commended Lautenberg.

"One of the bravest men that I ever saw was a fellow on top of a telegraph pole in the midst of a furious fire fight in Tunisia. I stopped and asked what the hell he was doing up there at a time like that. He answered, "Fixing the wire, Sir". I asked, "Isn't that a little unhealthy right about now?" He answered, "Yes Sir, but the *******ed wire has to be fixed". I asked, "Don't those planes strafing the road bother you?" And he answered, "No, Sir, but you sure as hell do!" Now, there was a real man. A real soldier. There was a man who devoted all he had to his duty, no matter how seemingly insignificant his duty might appear at the time, no matter how great the odds."

The people of New Jersey are not retiring from voting. They are responsible for Lautenberg.

You're quite right Bren and I wouldn't put it past them to install another socialist like him. Must be some noxious chemicals in the water there to have so many people take leave of their senses. Don

I really wish there were more term limits to keep these lifetime *******s out of office.
