Going to Roseburg ,driving down from Spokane. Any other locals going?
Looks like it's just you and me.
For the 9th time, I will be there also.
You can have first place in half and I will take first place in the other half.... Which one of us will shoot using a "37" ? Oh,I will shoot Sat,you can have Sun. See ya there!!!
I'll be there coming down from just north of Vancouver, WA. This will be my 4th year. See ya there. Bruce
Local guy here.
I'll be RO'ing Sat. AM.
It's always a great time here in Roseburg.
This will be my 4th year shooting the Roseburg match. I've done Shelton once, and Couer d'Alene once. I plan on shooting Saturday only with my G17 in Amateur Civilian and my G34 in Competition.
I hope to improve on my 5th Place in Competition last year and my 2nd "B" finish in Amateur Civilian. I've gotten a whole lot more trigger time this spring as opposed to last spring.
Trey, what should I expect for weather and if I slip ya $20 think I can shoot first on Sat.HaHa;z Really if I get there bright and early do you think I can be out by early afternoon?
If you are one of the early birds and first distribute your scoresheets or sign ups as suggested, then you should be through in 3 hours.
Danny, is that pretty solid intel, a practice applicable to most matches?
I just confirmed that there will be four (4) more of us at the match.
Driving down from Salem, OR. The team is back together this year, but I just badly injured my hand, so I will shot the match left handed only, using my G-17. That will be interesting. Just figures right before a match that I wait all year for.
Hope to see everyone there, and it would be nice to see a few new faces as well.
Good luck all, and safe shooting.
See ya at the match.
I will be coming down from Port Orchard, WA. This will be my first time to Roseburg. I am planning on doing the close three this year (Roseburg, Coeur d'Aelen, and Shelton) if you consider driving 7-8 hours one way close (Roseburg & Coeur d'Aelen). See everyone there Saturday.
If my instrument rating was current I would fly down. Its only a 2 hour flight. I usually fly to C'DA but the weather is usually nicer at that time. The weather this weekend is not supposed to be good.
Chicken,VFR below the clouds. HaHa. I did that once flying from the Bahamas back to Western Fla. Did not have my instrument ticket yet.Seeing land every few miles is a dumb way to fly in a 210 at 190 indicated..
Guilty as charged. It comes from pretending things are VFR then finding out first hand that they aren't!;f This is the problem with not having another shooter up here that is also a pilot. I would have no problem if there were 2 pilots on the flight as the workload would be more easily handled.
Good luck "Team CARVER Mount" at Roseburg. Team members: Alice Rhea, Dale Rhea and Steve Smith.
Best regards and have fun!!!
Roll on Dale, Alice and Steve. Good luck .;c ;c ;c
Good Luck Team Carver Mount!
Best of luck, Alice, Dale & Steve!! More plaques, more plaques!!;f ;f
