In honor of these brave men and women, let us remember their sacrifices and actions of bravery during the LA Riots as we reflect on the current rioting crisis befalling our great and beautiful country.

And an excellent page from AR15 Forums describing each gun used by Koreans during the riots, with detailed pictures on the first page. Great information!

    ETA: sorry, the link: https://www.ar15.com/forums/General...he-Guns-of-the-92-L-A-Riots/5-2104357/?page=1

These people are AMERICANS. And I for one am proud to call them as such.

    These ANTIFA aholes.....not so much.

I love the news reporters. “Are those guns legal? Are they registered?”

Highly more likely those are than the ones carried by the gang members

Even more likely that every single gun seen in the footage and pictures are likely outlawed in California today, leaving thousands of Koreans and law-abiding citizens defenseless. Yet another "gift" that the Democrats have visited upon that State like a plague.

I highly doubt they turned their guns in to the police because they’re now illegal.

Especially the dude on the roof with the Uzi. I’m sure it’s in a suitcase under his bed, just waiting.

Got to love old school, a .30 M1 Carbine may not be the most powerful self-loader available but will leave a serious booboo on a bad guy. Left a lot of German and Japanese soldiers dead during WWII.

My buddy Gary's father, a Vietnam-era Veteran, has an M1, which I believe belonged to his late-wife. I was with Gary when he shot it once without ear protection, some years ago. I was able to turn my hearing aids off and cover my ears, but he didn't have hearing protection. His mother was dying of cancer, and he relieved some stress one day while I was visiting on an old tree stump in their yard with that M1.

He didn't do that twice. That round is hella loud! Hearing protection is definitely a requirement! He had ringing in his ears for two hours afterwards.

    I love Roof Koreans.

They protected their communities, businesses, properties, familiesand friends from criminals.
Think of them as Asian Sheepdogs.

Those Korean males had mandatory military training, in Korea, don’t screw with them.
Plus a secret weapon is Kimchi breath.

The muzzle energy is a little under twice that of a .357 magnum. And the .357 is no slouch. If you could put a decent expanding bullet in it (which you may be able to do - never researched it) you could really have something in a small handy package.

    Mess with them?

If shvt hits the fan and I had to pick a "group" to back me up, they'd be very high on my list.

I think Hornady makes the " Critical Defense " round for the .30 Carbine . I would have no problem using it for self protection .

Are any firearms made in this caliber besides the .30 Carbine? Ruger made a revolver in it a few years ago but I don't know if it's still around.

Yea at 19 those born in Korea have to do two years in the ROK Army, some of the best light infantry in the world (IMHO).
They can also choose if they qualify another service branch, but most just want to get it over with.
My wife the “Dragon Lady” is 5’6, 125 lbs if rice eating “Whoop Ass”, mostly mine!
I train her to shoot, gave her a G-43 to play with yesterday, and I am probably, the only one she will ever shoot!

Law abiding people carrying firearms is a good thing that puts me at ease. I expect idiot news anchors to ask silly, uninformed questions like Bree Walker did in that clip.

If it's any consolation, life has not been kind to her since 1992:

Oh, and her co-anchor, the late Jim Jensen (died of a heart attack in 1999), was a real piece of work himself:

    Boy the 1990s were grand....

“Disturbing sight”...really? GTFOH... I see nothing “disturbing” about people protecting their business, their property or their livelihood.
