    I fondled a couple at the Springfield booth at the NWTF convention. Felt good in the hand, didn’t seem loose at all, especially for a convention with 100,000 people fondling guns.

    Got to handle one at the Bud’s in Sevierville, TN earlier today. Not a bad pistol but did not care for the slivers of grips. They had it for $699. Was somewhat tempted but the display already had an idiot scratch and was their only one.

    I think it is a product of "parts bin engineering." Nothing functionally out of the ordinary for a SA pistol.
    I would have liked the 1970s IPSC two-tone styling if they had used stainless small parts but the pinto effect is off-putting.
