I like the specs. What am I missing besides it’s Springfield Armory.
I like it too. Seems like a huge value for the price. I think they’ll sell like hotcakes. I’m guessing real world price will be mid-high 700’s.
It looks nice, would like to get my paws on one to look it over.
I’m looking forward to getting my hands on one too.
Looks like a good excuse for me to add another Springfield. My only reservation is the grip panels appear to be slim. Easy fix though.
The 9mm Ronin is on my short list for 2020!
Shot Show coverage of this model is really disappointing. Full size steel frame in 9mm or 45acp. Commander (NOT champion) size in aluminum frame in 45 acp.
Once you get used to the slim panels it's hard to go back, even with big hands.
At least in my experience.
I wish they offered the VZ Simonich Gunner grips in slim
I want one. It has exactly the specs I like. Has anyone seen one?
I handled them at Shot. Felt good. Decent trigger. Tight action. I felt like it was something that already existed but couldn't put my finger on which model. EMPs maybe. I think the msrp was $850.
The TRP in 10mm stood out more. The first one of those I'd handled, oddly enough.
I’ve owned a bunch of Colts. Carry an old series 70 every day.
I picked up an EMP4 in 9mm. First 1911 ish Springfield I’ve owned.
I’m quite impressed.
The Ronin is pretty much THE IPSC gun we all had built from a Colt kit back in the early 80’s. For me, that’s a good thing.
I like it too. I have a Compact from them that has done well since 2001. I was thinking before this came out about chrome plating the frame.
For me, it's as much about conformity as anything else. I have a sizable 1911 collection and really don't want to vary grip size from one to another.
Looks interesting! I wouldn't mind adding another 1911 to the stable. Finding one I like for well under a grand would be nice, also.
I've seen Ronins online for as low as $699 to mid $700's.
Yeah, I saw one today for $714 so that seems about right given the msrp. If demand goes up, which I doubt, the price will go up.
Yes, please. Nice looking gun.
