Same here.....no problem with mine. The only thing I've done to mine is Add a rail, and change out the stock.

Similar experience. About 10 years ago, completley outfitted a stripped lower with Rock River parts including a rifle length complete upper and NM trigger. Runs like a top. No issues whatsoever. It has been a great rifle.

I have seen the poor chambers and messed up BEs too on some Rock Rivers. I don't know if they got some employees that don't know what they are doing or what. They have made a lot of good rifles over the years, a lot of them being very accurate. I don't like the thing they pulled supporting gun control in Illinois so I won't buy anything from them any more., no matter how good their stuff is or is not.

Most gun owners, even the minority who also shoot, don't know crap about guns and their opinions are a combination of internet knowledge and personal incompetence. Among AR-15 owners, triple that. That's why so many rumors fly on the internet.

I’ve got an LAR-15 I bought about 2 years ago. It’s ran flawlessly. I’ve done a few upgrades to it since. BCM Keymod rail, ALG ACT trigger. I swapped out the commercial buffer tube for milspec and changed the furniture. I’ve built another rifle from a RRA stripped lower. They are good rifles.

Most of the “hate/bashing” stems from when Rock River and SpringField went full on Benedict Arnold on the 2nd amendment a few years back. Before that incident they were by many thought of as a good middle of the road AR. Ala above DPMS but below the my “little pony” and LMT’s.

    Quality of RRA is good
Their financially supporting an anti gun activist a few years back was a poor decision.

    I have a RRA 20" A2 HBAR with a RRA Match 2-stage trigger. One of the most accurate ARs I own. 015.JPG 018.JPG 020.JPG

RRA makes good rifles. Somewhat overpriced, IMHO, but good, nevertheless.

I have 2 RRA ARs and both are fine. Though, I am no expert. They work. I am happy.

Bought the varmint version for our 600 yard range. That is a lot of fun.

I once bought a brand new RRA and it shot about 18" low at 25 yards. There wasn't enough adjustment in the sights to zero it. I used all the adjustment in my Primary Arms red dot to get it on target.

    Happyguy :)

Did you ask RRA about it?

They replaced it, but my experience wasn't exactly confidence inspiring. In my opinion they changed from a great high quality 1911 company into a "chase the max profit at any cost" mediocre AR building company. I'm not saying their guns are bad, but they certainly aren't anything special.

    Regards,
    Happyguy :)

    Feces happens, hence warranties.

When demand out paces supply price increases, quality decreases.
