Just got back from Eastern Washington with my junior high church group's camp.

We did some whitewater rafting on the Wenatchee River from Leavenworth to Cashmere.

And we did some rock climbing and repelling in the Cascade foothills near Leavenworth.

I would love to get into rock climbing more.

Does anyone have any great rock climbing websites as I would love to work on my belay skills.

I've been to Vertical World in Redmond so I plan to start working out there.

Anyone know of some nice rock climbing spots in Western WA not far from the Seattle-Eastside area?

Any tips for an aspiring rock climber?

There are several magazines to read and learn from. Such as Rock & Ice, Climbing and Urban Climber. Each has their own website and some have forums. Start out slow in terms of buying equipment. Check to see if you have an REI store in your area. They have classes for beginners.
