So in order to "keep up with the Jones'" I purchased a Trijicon RMR and had the slide milled on my Gen 4 Glock 17. I have a Lone Wolf threaded barrel, Arredondo Magazine extensions, and Ameriglo suppressor sights. Topping it off is a surefire x300 weapon light. The weapon holds 24 rounds with one in the chamber. It will see it's first range day tomorrow where I will test form and function. All I can say right now is...I'm in love. :faint:

Crappy pic, but I'm at work now and can't take anything new.

Do you have a suppressor or is the threaded barrel for show?

Mine goes in this week for the same treatment. RDS on handguns is the future.

Nice. I'm thinking of getting one of their slides for that setup.

i recommend wrapping shrink wrap over the flashlight with a rubber band so you don't have to clean the lens when you get home.

You have to put a G18 33rd mag on there to top it off. That puny 24rd mag just won't do.:wavey:

    Good Idea!

The threaded barrel is awaiting it's suppressor. Spent so much money on the platform that I will have to wait a while to purchase the suppressor. There is a company local to my area that produces suppressors at a good price. I will probably end up with one by the end of the year.

Can't wait to shoot it. The RDS is definitely the future of handgunning. Target acquisition just through the looking glass is amazingly fast. I hope it lives up to my hopes and dreams. ALSO...If I were you I'd just have my slide milled...cheaper.

Shot the RMR Glock combo today. After some adjustment I was able to tear ragged holes out to 25 yards with ease. Definitely faster acquisition. Love it. Now to find a holster

Dale Fricke makes a couple of different ones specifically for the RMR'd Glocks. He makes an appendix holster called the Michael and also an OWB called the Gideon. He is a master craftsman when it comes to holster making.

Here are two holsters to evaluate if you aren't already aware of them:

    1. Seraphim© RMR AIWB from Dale Fricke Holsters. Dale offers a version of the Seraphim for IWB behind the hip too. He is terrific to work with to get exactly what you need.
    2. Archangel II AIWB for RMR-equipped pistols from Blade-Tech and TSD Combat Systems.
I meant to ask earlier, did Mark Housel at L&M Precision Gunworks do the milling of your slide for the RMR?

Look no further than blade-tech my friend. Trust me, they are worth the price. I have one for OWB CC and one for tactical shoots (ie, AR drills etc). I ordered mine through onesourcetactical.com. I use a shieldedholsters.com double phalax for IWB carry.

Nice pistol....I love the concept of red-dots on GLOCKs.

    However, not a carbine.

    Still....very nice.
