Real men have pistols where the caliber begins with 4. :miff:

If you carry something that holds more than one bullet, you're a wuss!

Real men also know when not to be impressed by a number, and when to use a better tool....

I have a few things chambers in a .4 or better, the biggest of which was favored by Mr. Callahan. However, I chose to carry a member of the metric system for duty purposes - bullet development has come a long way, the round count is higher, and based on my experience, the more diminutive caliber is inherently more accurate.

Shot thousands of rounds with both calibers, as well as the .45 - 9mm groups are much better than the .40.

I've got mine, built up at Gunsite by Ted Yost. It's a safe queen.

I agree about bullet development. The NYPD has had much success with the 9mm.

What a classic pistol. I've only shot one once, but enjoyed it a lot. Terrific feel of the grip.

From a novel set in 1948:

"Absolutely right, Harry. I'm thinkin' these are stolen."

"You would be correct," a voice behind them said. They quickly turned. Rachel was standing with a pistol pointed right at Soc. "Don't get up."

"Yes ma'am," he said. He and Harry remained squatting.

"You see, we took them from the Egyptian freighter. And since my country is at war with Egypt, it's not really theft, now is it? Consider it the spoils of war." She gave them a wry smile and kept the gun aimed at the two aviators.

Soc gestured at her pistol. "Is that one of those 9mm Belgian pistols that hold a full thirteen rounds? Not a lucky number for the guy on the receiving end. Thirteen holes is a lot of holes in a man."

Would like to have one someday. :cowboy:

They made about a gazillion of them in the US and other countries.

    No shortage.
Just keep your eyes open and a nice one will land in your lap.
    Nab it.
Some folk will surely suddenly decide that their $400.00 Hi Power is now worth $2,000.00.
    Avoid them.
