Every one of these was avoidable. Every. Single. One.

I logged over 200K miles on the street, and never crashed. I had a lot of close calls, some my fault, most were not. Riding like I was invisible, keeping my head on a swivel, and always expecting the unexpected kept me safe.

I stopped street riding about 8 years ago, mainly due to physical issues which make it difficult to ride without pain, and I can't really say I miss it. Too many distracted drivers out there now.

I couldn't have said that better myself.

So I'll post a pic instead:

I have friends who are bikers. I don't know if I could do that. I think I'm destined to be a cager my whole life.

Some of you guys are negative, I have had motorcycles for 40 years, have ridden about 250,000 miles and have never been in a accident.

I haven't read much of the thread. So this may have already been covered.

But how do you tell a happy motorcycle rider?

By the bugs on there teeth.

I have been riding for 15 years. I also have never had an accident, but I have avoided several every season because of stupid drivers.

Some of those actually were accidents. Most where not.

Especially the last one. How dare that cager change lanes when I am driving like an idiot.
