    No, all Z06's are manual trans. he simply induced clutch slippage by dumping that much power into like that. The car is designed that way. Better to smoke a clutch than to grenade the torque tube or transaxle. The ironic thing is, you don't need to give them much power to spin the tires. The trick is to get on them and keep the tires planted. Eric

    Anyone that says that probably hasn't driven a Z06. It is an absolutely incredible ride. The car produced 505hp and gets 15/25MPG doing it. I have personally seem one get close to 30MPG at 80MPH on level road. It is the only supercar that you don't have to pay the gas-guzzler tax on. At any rate, that car did exactly what it was designed to: It was smoking its clutch to keep some dumbass from smoking the transmission. Eric

    your right, i havent. I'm not a chevy fan.... i wouldnt feel safe in a car that fast, with a fiberglass body....
