if your backpack isn't big enough to carry all your gear then get a bigger pack. if your backpack hurts you then get a better back pack.

that thing there is just a giant fanny pack.

Check youtube, tons of reviews on it. They seem ok and a good idea, but I have not got around to getting one yet.

It may look ghey, but the big advantage to getting a ribz pack is its great for carrying a full sized gun while you are hiking with a backpack with a waist strap.

Objectively, it looks like a viable gear carrying option.

    Ribz - for her pleasure!

Ok I'll bite. I have the ribz front pack. It's really nice. It's convenient to store most commonly used gear. You don't have to take your pack off to get to stuff. Works great for kayaking and fishing. I haven't got a chance to go hiking with mine yet. I have the large one.

Seriously, aside from dude in the ad, who seems like a jerk in his show, I wouldn't mind having one for carrying while hiking.

My mother has a messenger bag like that, but she always calls it a purse. My wife won't carry one because she thinks they're too girly. Funny, yet true.

I call mine my "man purse." It really is just that. Given the huge amount of stuff I already carry in my pockets and in my holster, I kinda wish man purses would catch on.

I looks like it would interfere with right hip carry.
