I just received this in an email from the Brady Bunch.

    http://www.bradynetwork.org/site/MessageViewer/?em_id=39701.0&dlv_id=38661

They are trying to get Starbucks to ban firearms in their stores.

We need to print out this letter and bring it in to Starbucks and tell them we are buying coffee in support of their current policy. We need to be real clear because some of their employees may not get it.

Brady's crap needs to backfire. There are more of us than them.

Damn good idea. I'm not a starbuck kind of a guy but I'll throw some bucks their way and let them know why.

I still won't do it, even if they have a positive firearms policy. Their coffee and products suck.

    No thanks.

Starbucks will just ignore the Brady people. Even if they were anti-gun, putting the thought of gun violence is not the mood they try to sell. That's assuming they understand marketing.

I go to Starbucks because they've got the best espresso in town. I buy their French Roast by the pound because they've got the best coffee in the world.

I am glad to learn, however, they support our troops and they shut out the Brady Bunch. But seriously, if we boycotted everybody who disagrees with our politics, how many products could we use?

Don't know if they are good or bad, but that chain email, like most, is BS. It was anti military. It's been around for a long time and just showed up on GT again today or yesterday.

But accurate posters revealed that Starbucks does indeed support our troops and sends them free coffee.

Starbucks is a Greatguy company! We got more coffee than we could use from them while in the Gulf. Now that they told the Brady's to go to hell I like them even more. Too bad their coffee gives me the 'Hershey squirts':crying:.

My division also sent off many letters of gratitude to other companies for their support including Redbull, Coke, Pepsi, and some others. They all sent us some care packages put together by their employees with handwritten letters and cool promotional stuff like T-shirts and DVD's. Redbull sent us a DVD collection of all the stuff they promote (air races, bike races, MX) I was impressed.

Good for them. I still prefer Dunkin' Donuts coffee any day though.

I'll stop boycotting them when they stop donating to abortion clinics.

I !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love it!!! Especially considering that I happen to be a fan of Starbucks, their product, and their service.

In all seriousness, you can see how desperate they're getting. They've been eating nothing but losses over the last couple of years already and now they have to deal with the fact that there is a whole class of new firearms owners that have made our numbers grow to record levels. I like it when the Brady Bunch becomes hysterical.

I'd go to Starbucks, except their coffee is overpriced and tastes like ***.
