Mas,

Referring back to your reply to Sam Spade:

I get NY LooseLeafLaw updates periodically, and find it enlightening to look through, but am somewhat intimidated when it comes to actually FINDING something I'm looking for.

Is there any good instruction out there on Legal Research??

Findlaw.com is, for us po' folks, sort of the free version of the Westlaw data base subscribed to by law firms.

Every county seat has a legal library that's open to the public whose tax dollars pay for it. Drop by (leaving your gun in the car; it's generally considered courthouse property) and it's been my experience that the legal librarian will be happy to show you how to look up case law and related matters.

Best,
Mas
