My Glock 27 recoil spring is weak, and the gun has been fired less than 100 rounds. Are there any replacements other than the Glock OEM springs ? Sorry if this has been discussed before, but a search on this would take a while.

    Neal--

Consider going to the GSSF match in Indianapolis on th 29th. The armorers will probably be happy to replace your mag spring free of charge.

Wolff is much better and more dependable(steel), springs are easy to change. ISMI is supposed to have theirs out next month-which will probably be even better.

Thanks for the tip. I e-mailed ISMI and they are working on one.

many have tested wolf springs and found them inferior to glock springs. ismi fare better than glock springs.

My 30 had about 35% of the flat head of the rod bent at about 20 degrees where it sat on the bbl with zero rounds through it, and I have read of several that have broken. The head appears to be only a steel disc pressed onto the polymer rod. Yes, Glock would fix it, and the Glock springs are better than Wolff, but I want a solid steel rod not to worry about, and I would rather change springs more and have the solid rod, the Wolff could not be easier to change. As soon as ISMI has the rod and spring for mini Glocks, the Wolff will be replaced.

I installed my new Wolff guide rod and springs in the G27 last night. Have not shot it yet, but the lockup is MUCH better than with the stock springs. Thanks to all for the responses.
