I have two 15 round FML stock Glock magazines for my G19.

I plan to put on the +2 stock Glock magazine extension to have that extra 2 round capacity.

Do I need to replace the stock 15 round magazine spring to give that "extra push" for the two rounds?

    Thanks,

    Tuks

My own experience is that mags with +2's lose their slide lock ability much, much earlier than those w/standard floorplates. They function fine just won't lock the slide when empty. Makes no difference whether using stock springs or +10%.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply!

Can you elaborate a little bit, please? What does failure to slide lock means?

    Cheers!

When you empty a magazine the slide locks open so you know it's time to reload.

Mags w/extensions, at least for me, don't maintain this ability for very long at all, even though they continue to feed and function fine otherwise.

What Rastus said. Don't care for the +2's, serve no purpose but people that dig accs buy them.

    Thanks, Dudes!

Pretty new with Glocks and firearms for that matter. I now understand completely.

    Your inputs appreciated.

    Regards! :)

I use G17 mag springs with my G19 mags with +2's.
