    FED at gunshow - yes
License renewal - IIRC, it still has to be at FED's HQ, mabilis lang yan
2 FAs - You don't need gun safety seminars for renewals, or did I miss something? I personally renewed two FAs last December, spent less than 2K, done in 30 mins:cool:

Other reqmts - This is why it has to be done at the FED HQ, things like insurance bond is required, payment of fee sa Landbank inside for SBR issuance, etc.

you can ask the sentry where the FED is. Parking is a bit difficult though so suggest you alot a reasonable lead time for you to make your transaction there. Renewal probably will need at least the entire day or at least half a day

From EDSA (heading south to Makati), turn right at Santolan and then turn left into Crame (Santolan gate). Tell the sentry you're headed for FED to renew your firearm license. Go straight (parallel to EDSA, again going south). You'll go past a really small rotonda. The parade ground to the left is the public parking area. From there you can resume going down the same road on foot, turn right at the end and keep walking 'til THAT road ends as well. FED will be on your left.

Try to get there before 9:30 am, and you'll be done faster than most would believe.

    :)

If you appear at FED personally for the license renewal, do they give you a new card type plastic ID right then and there, or do you still have to wait for a mailed notice from them saying when you can pick it up?

Thanks, Arnold. It's good that they release the ID card right away.

I think I'll make the trip to QC when I have to renew my licenses instead of having them processed in the province.

Renewed four FA licenses at Crame today for the ff.

    1. Para Ord P14
    2. Winchester 12 Ga
    3. Norinco .45
    4. Bersa .22

    Requirements:

    1. 1 pcs 2X2 picture per license
    2. Residence Certificate

    Total cost was P4,557.00.

    Breakdown:
P 3, 556.00 - Renewal fee including the plastic license
    400.00 - Notarial fee
    476.00 - Firearms Bond
5.00 - Photocopy of old license
    120.00 - Runner's fee

Total processing time: 2 hours and 10 mins.
Got in at 9:00 AM and out by 11:10 AM.
This included the 30 mins. delay when their camera malfunctioned.

Not bad at all considering that you get to bring home your plastic license on the same day and that if you go to a gunstore and let them process your renewal, you'll be charged P3,000.00 per FA.

    :)

That's pretty steep considering that it will cost around 1,000 ++ per gun if you go to Crame.

It comes out even cheaper if you have more than one gun for renewal.

i renewed my lisence for my 2 fa(g17 & paraord)

no appearance costs 3500 per fa sa probinsya(discounted pa un)
