I should like to remove AdSubtract, and perhaps other programs, from automatically starting upon boot-up. Is there a menu of start-up items such that I can remove those not wanted automatically loaded? If so, how is it accessed?

You can go to Start - run - type in msconfig - then there is a tab of start up items. Uncheck the program you dont want to start.

Although, you probably want to run a program like Ad-Aware to actually remove these from your computer, as they may just continue adding themselves to the list of start-up programs.
