    Hi guys;

    How do you remove the front sight on a Glock 36? The replacement sight I have has a small nut on it but the factory sight doesn't.

    if you want to save the front site, use a dental pick to get the small pin out. OR you can just grab the sight with pliers and pull it off. this will only work if it's the plastic sight. never had to deal with one that was staked on.

    If the front sight you are trying to remove is of the steel “staked on” flavor… well, they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" so… ;)

    Thanks cpty1! They don’t call me “CAD Man” for nothing! ;) It’s just a quick AutoCAD drawing converted to a “JPG File”…

    I forgot to add a bit though…

    Naturally the “punch” & the “blocks of wood” could be substituted for other like objects, but I’m sure the basic idea is seen.

    You’ll be surprised how easily the front sight pops out, which is another reason I don’t care for factory “staked on” front sights…
