To disassemble your Glock you have to remove three pins (on the third Gen). Can you remove these pins too much-leaving them prone to fall out on ther own? Should you minimize complete disassembly? I've only taken mine apart once for the $0.25 trigger job and the pins were quite snug causing me to think of this question.

By the way, the trigger is much smoother.

I don't think it would be possible to wear down the pins by removing them too many times... it would take a lot and a lot of removing to do that.

I'm not so worried about the pins as the acutal holes in the grip getting bored out after time. I know the polymer is strong I am just wondering if anyone has ever had that problem.

I've stripped my Glocks down a ton of times. I put alittle lube on the pins when putting back in. They will start to loosen up after some time and I've heard that one of the front pins can walk out. I haven't had a problem and always messing with my Glocks....

    10mm4me,

Ask this question of Arthur at Ghost Inc. He'll tell you how many times he has stripped one of his glocks and it will blow your mind.
