Has anyone used this ammo in their Glocks? I am excited to run some rounds through my Glock 36 but want to weigh opinions first. I use their 9mm and .223 ammunition and my guns love it. I got a good price on a few boxes of .45ACP so I figured I'd buy some. Does it feed well? Has anyone experienced bad primers or FTF? Let me know if you can. Thanks!

I think I've used about 350-400 rounds of it. It's the range ammo at my local range, so when I run out of the cheaper gun show deals, I buy that from them. Works great. And seems cleaner than most other types to me.

I find it overpriced, dirty and weak. It works, but I think there are much better range ammo options. My favorites are American Eagle, S&B and Fiocchi. Buy online. Retail stores rape you and often charge more for the crappy stuff because it's name brand. Most people don't know any better.

It's good!! I've only shot 50rds of it but it shot well. In my G21 @ 7, 10, 15yds slow fire 10rd groups where 3''. The + is they have large primers whitch most 45'ers will stay with & reload.

I'll have to agree. It is overpriced. They're usually about $2-3 more than other competing brands for some reason.

For the money I'd buy Speer Lawman TMJ. Depending on where you are you can pick them up for fair prices at Academy Sports or Gander Mtn.

I don't know about .45, but I've run over 1,000 rounds of UMC in .40 through my G22 and the gun loves it.

I got them for $17 a box so they weren't overpriced. Hopefully they'll work as good as their 9mm and .223's.

OP, I'm pretty sure your Glock will eat that stuff up and pick it's teeth with your striker. No need to worry about FTFs etc. .45 Glocks will chew up anything and hardball runs particularly smooth through them.

I have fed Winchester white box, Federal, Blazer, UMC (250 rounds box), and Tulammo through my G30 (more than 3000 rounds all together), and had only one FTF with Tulammo but the previous round fired weak.

My 36 eats these and pretty much anything I run through it. However, I did not have good success in ejecting some reloaded ammo. Staying clear of reloads.

The only factory ammo that failed to fire was Remington, and the only primers in reloading to caused problems were the same. That's my experience with it.

I've had good luck with the 9mm, not sure how how hot it is though.
The UMC 125gr 357 mag however is hot as hell. It is no joke out of my lcr. One of my favorite rounds to shoot and let other shooters give a wirl. More than one person has 'one and done' with the umc out of the lcr.
My wife with the new umc flamethrower round-

When supplies were tight, I could get quantities of .45 UMC at Dick's for a decent price and put several hundred rounds through my G30SF without a problem.

She has a great stance and she's taking the recoil very good, great picture with a big fireball.
