Doesnt MG pack their bullets in 1000 per pastic bag? Just unpack at the door, 1000 at a time.

Nope... I think I remember that they did that a few years back, but now... 3K in a bag, in a box, in a USPS ship box. 1000 would be 21# anyway.

I now decant the 3K into 6-10# boxes of ~500ea. (by volume). Manageable for carrying and stacking on shelves.

...and then they are subsequently further decanted into the berms! The fun part.

I ordered several thousand projectiles from Missouri Bullet Company in August. Just received an email saying they are still hopelessly delayed on orders and offering to refund my money.

I guess I will leave the order. It’s not like it’s hurting me to wait. But Wow it’s hard to imagine things being this backed up.

Only for a few. DG and SNS are keeping up with shipments nicely.

Currently loading, left to right, 120 Bayou, 125 Bayou, 125 DG, 125 Gallant, 125 BBI. I have a local stocking source for Gallant who sells only to competitive shooters and delivers bullets to the match! Montana Gold is shipping, my buddy, who runs Open Division, just got 7K from them, ordered at 3:43 am in the morning. Next click they were gone.

I found MG around that same, Eastern Time, and ordered 3K. They've said to check in the afternoon and order immediately as they do NOT accept backorders. When I was ordering, I found that they lasted a few minutes, rather than only several seconds.

At that local time, many (most) people are in the sack - across the entire country.

In the past, I've limited purchases to 3K of 147s or 3750 of 124s as that's the reasonable, still mailable weight - and price breaks are pretty good up to those amounts, with less of a savings past that. If I had a loading dock at a business... still don't know if I'd order the 10K because 3K right to my doorstep is an attractive alternative. At this brief moment in time, that's about 3 months supply - or lifetime supply if primers dry up.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered some 9mm from DG and they shipped the next morning.

MBC is still weeks behind. I’m still waiting on an order front August to ship.

Precision Delta has 9, 40, and 35 bullets in stock right now. Probably going to go quick.

RMR has my second 3K of 147s en route (after ~12 weeks). Will see if they've learned how to pack shipments, or if these will tumble loose in the box, for 3,000 miles across the country, like the last box.

Who has bought Small Pistol Primers recently, and where did you buy them?
