Wow, great thread. I just ordered alot of stuff and I am very happy to have found this. I have a 5 week wait till all of my stuff comes in so I am reading alot until them . I am not new to reloading but it has been awhile. Really a great write up.

About to pull the trigger on a Dillon 550b. I cut and pasted this in a word doc. Have a Lyman handgun reloading manual coming in another week.

This is a great doc on practical experience and hints how to keep your body parts. Appreciate it!

Now if i can just find some primers!

Is it ok to mix powders if they are exactly the same? for example i have two partial containers of h322 in thier original containers and would like to combine them to make space. I realize its a no brainer if they were differnt powders. Im new to the game.

Most of us will mix a small remainder of powder into a newer larger container of the SAME powder. Keep in mind that there can be "lot to lot" differences in the powders (although they are relatively minor). If you're running max loads, you would want to back off a bit with the newly mixed powder and retest the recipe in your firearms.

Wrong. I haven't reloaded a cartridge yet, but I read the sticky. Great info.

Wow. I've been here on GT for about 5 years now and never read this thread. Nicely done Zombie (how's that for a belated attaboy?).

I can see this being a useful supplement to reloading manuals.

It's been a few years. Is it OK to build a PID controller since I can't find any friggin' powder?

Wow. I haven't been here for some time and the original posts looked pretty screwed up (software changeover?). Should be fixed now.

Fine. You promise to keep Californians out of Colorado and I'll stick my head up from time to time.
