Kindly refer a reliable US Website for an upcoming knife purchase. Preferably those you have done business with. My preferred brands are BM, Spyderco, Emerson, CS, CRKT etc. Thanks.

Julius, have you tried Urban yet? They have a good selection of the knives you mentioned. What's more, their mark-up is reasonable and oftentimes have the same retail price as the shops in the US.

    Guys,

You may also want to visit a new store at MCS.

Survival and Outdoor Equipment (SOE) located at Unit 7A, 1st Basement of MCS, the first pasilyo from Jethro. Prices of Surefires and knives are similar to Urban.

Tel. no. is 848-14-36 look for Manny or Bien

Incidentally, may TrustTrade na din pala sa MCS.

    :)

Mannix/Alexie -- Urban is I think the best local source. However, the prices in the Net are remarkably lower for some. As much as 40% off on MSRP. I think Urban pricing is MSRP plus Shipping + Markup. Some models also not avble.

A relative is coming fr the US kasi.

S.G - Thks for the info. Will try to visit this shop asap.

Paul/ El D. -- Will visit... Thanks guys!

I agree re shipping. Actually, I did personaly visit Target, Walmart, Big 5 stores last November kaso the best that I found were very few low end models of Gerber, Leatherman, S&W lang. No BM, Spydie etc.

    :) :)

In that case just get one from a website who is not located in their state. Iwas taxes ;f Cheap I am ;f Aba sayang din yung 8% kung local tapos parehas lang ang continental ground shipping fee.

The cheapest site I have found for Cold Steel is cheaperthandirt.com. Especially on the SRK and Master Hunter fixed blades in Carbon V steel. I don't know how they do it. Oh yea, and I 've always had good dealings with them.

Finally acquired a BM from Urban. Totally satisfied! Re Web ordering, I did try and actually got a confirmation for a hard to find tac knife. Only to be informed that a advance payment thru postal order was necessary, na snub yung Citibank MC ko.:( :) I guess I cant really blame due to the rampant card fraud in the Net.;Q
