Been a while since I have had time to post up pictures of some work. Finished up a reduction and a few other things on this 43X.

Added a speedwell and bevel since the 43X/48's have a flat wall along the back of the mag well.

Love what you did to the rear of the magwell. Of course the grip reduction is very nice

Best looking 43 I’ve seen yet. Not my style but it sure does look good and it’s got the best sights ever. Haha

How is the 43x better than the 19? Could someone remind me?

Oh I remember it has fewer cartridges weighing it down.

Oh, I can help you with that.

It is smaller and can be concealed better then the full size duty weapon.

    Hey look
The 19 is listed as being 1.18” while the 43x is listed as 1.10”. Not sure 0.08” is worth losing 33% of the magazine capacity.

The 19 is much easier to conceal then the 17 and only requires a 12% reduction in magazine capacity.

That sounds exactly like my thought process when I first saw the specs on the 43 vs the 26. Then I held one in person and the light bulb came on. I really don't understand the "not much difference" crowd. There is a big difference. BTW, that 43 has supplanted my 27 pretty much entirely for carry.

I don't own a 48/43X yet. They do offer a substantially thinner gun with reasonable capacity. I'm not a 19 hater. It may be the perfect HD gun for my needs.

A G19 and later G26 has spent hundreds of hours riding in my sweaty waistline. The G48 is honestly a game changer. That little bit of thinness makes a big difference with my body at least.

Back to original topic, That 43X looks fantastic. Has to take many, many hours to do a reduction like that.

How the mag look in it, any pics on that? Did you custom your mags, too?
