Ok, I'm getting a pretty good supply of silver coasters here. I'm trying to record a data disc, but having a heck of a time.

I slide in a DVD-R, and it tells me I have to format it 1st, so I do. The the data seems to record ok, then it tells me to make compatible via DLA, which I do. It says it does that, and ejects the DVD. When I put it back in the same computer, it says the DVD needs to be formatted, or hangs up the DVD. :headscratch:

It could some Microsoft program or maybe Roxio or off chance it's Nero.

Here's an excellent program but you should uninstall what you have now before installing it.

    Deep Burner

After your 1st post, I went to Download.com and saw that. I really don't like the interface that well, but it burned one off. Thanks!
