Hi guys, finally want to drop the hammer on a G26. I do like the looks and feel of the 4th Generation, held one today at the dealer. I like the change out backstrap, and the rough tex grips. I think there have been problems/issues with the 4th Generation pistol, but I don't know if it was something major or not. I think it had to do with the recoil spring? I don't want to buy a new gun and have to ship back and forth to the factory to get it to run right. Once a gun doesn't work for me, I just want to sell it off. I don't mind if I have to "settle" for a 3rd generation piece, but I would like to jump on a 4th. Any ideas from you all? Should I go with a 3rd generaton piece that I know works for sure? Thanks for your help in advance. regards, TC

Glock Inc is supposed to have the recoil spring issues resolved. Make sure you get a recoil spring that was produced 5/2011 and you should be good to go
