    Just wondering something...

    who here does their own glocksmithing???

    I am a glock armorer..and I do trigger jobs, detail stripping/cleaning, polishing, parts replacement, etc.

    Who else???

    I can't imagine what could be done to a Glock that I wouldn't do myself.

    On the other hand, I'm that way about most guns. If I had a choice between working on a gun and shooting it, I'd probably pick working on it. I just like figuring out problems and fixing stuff (guiatrs, refrigerators, computers, I don't care).

    Yep. I learnt ta fix my Glock by readin' Randy Smiff's posts. Only 2 busted frames in 4 years. Can ya make yer's shoot when ya let offa the trigger?

    Absolutely not, Randy. I broke 'em on my own. I consider you the most erudite and knowledgeable poster on GT and iff'n I'da read sooner I wouldn'ta broke 'em. Hey, on the bright side, them little bits a broke plastic sure made Dowdie Pooch happy fer a while.

    Replacin' them bottom "mag holder" pieces was real cheap. I'll PM ya and tell ya about the motherload of bottoms. Ya heerd about all a them thousands a Glock K-Booms? I found where they throwed the pieces.
