    For whatever it's worth, this was raw trout. The pros who prepare sashimi know what they're looking for.

    I just thought this was cool.

    Probably the reason there is no trout on the menu at any sushi bar I've ever been to.
    I've been eating raw fish for twenty-five years, I'm not worried.

    A zillion people at sushi every day, what, they all running around with tape works?

    The average camper in the woods probably has more to fear from cooking his catch than does the sushi patron.

    Never eat anything raw that was pulled out of freshwater.

    Fresh water fish are vectors for a whole buncha human parasites. Not so many for saltwater fish.
