I just had to pass this on to my fellow Bull Dawgs. Ammunitiontogo.com has IN STOCK 50rd boxes of Winchester Ranger 230gr bonded HP for $36.95 a box. I ordered 3 boxes as my original 50 round box of Speer Gold Dot 185gr is just about gone.

I finally got the chance to run a box of it thru my G38. It's got a bit more snap than the Gold Dot 185gr I've been carrying. The accuracy was good and it functioned flawlessly so for now it has become my new carry ammo.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to give it a try.

This replaced the Ranger 45 GAP ammo RA45GT.

I once asked if Winchester made Ranger 230 anymore but a state of Florida purchasing order showed that that they were no longer making the regular version and was replacing it with the bonded RA45GB.

A Glock 39 stoked with 7 - 230 grain bonded rangers will keep you feeling safe!

I am just thrilled to have found any quality maker 230 grain ammo for SD.

Ordered 3 boxes. Looked like reloads to me. Boxes were weathered, brass was pitted and some showed extractor marks.

    ???

I've been carrying the Bonded load in my G37 as of late.

I ordered 3 boxes today also. I think it was the last three boxes because the product no longer shows up on either google or an internal search at ammunitiontogo.

I hope it isn't the crappy reloads CookeMonster got. I would not dare shoot something that looks like reloads, must less carry it for self-defense. You should call them right away and see if they will exchange or refund (unless I really did get the last batch, then push for a refund). They have acknowleged in the past that some products were damaged when they received from their shipper, and repackaged material which had corrossive chemicals split on it. But that would not explain reloaded ammo with pits and extractor marks. Dang!
